You should ever use Odin if possible.
Dont need root to install custom recovery.
Installing custom recovery will alter device status FROM official to custom and you cannot apply OTA
You should exist able to go root by flashing the latest su zip in stock recovery from internal storage if you want it.

What is this su zip? I've never actually heard of it...

or in stock recovery re-create to phone stORage and sd carte and printing apply "apply update from sd carte du jour" in stock recovery.
i dont know if youneed custom rom for information technology to stick?

I just tried it in stock recovery and it doesn't work. When I can I'll get back on my laptop and endeavor through TWRP (afterwards installing it ofc)

So what he is trying to tell that Samsung allowed the recovery to install supersu in stock recovery? I dubiousness that. this has happened (once) what I recollect and it was on milky way s2 days. when (past some reason) Samsung immune it to exist flashed

itll work on twrp they were using on german leak.
and twrp will flash on pc odin.
while you are there you lot should reflash rom to lol

I am currently downloading the link, and want to conform will it work on I337M.
I tried Albe rom but wifi wasn't working ( bold kernel issue )
When you open thread tin can you make rom or a mod to brand it compatible with other models.
And a request , a modernistic to bandy wallpapers with S5 or Note 4 as N3 walls doesnot give cruel of lollipop and when I cull wallpaper from gallery Condition bar becomes tinted (kitkat type) which I don't prefer.

i havent used to stock recovery in years forgot if you could practice that from there. i remember my s3 lte im sure i could install zips from stovck recovery but but from internal not external thus moving to cwm. i forget!

Finally got root!!.Flashed twrp vers 2.8.four.0 tar. in Odin, unticked auto reboot and this time it stuck.Put UPDATE SuperSU v2.46 zip.on internal sd and managed to flash information technology and it worked at terminal.Busybox , Titanium and supersu working .Took eight flashes in all to go it working.Tin't explicate it only it worked.Approximate y'all have to persist until it works

seems like custom recovery will stick now over odin and then y'all should accept no issues at all flashin recovery there then information technology should install that for root and the su app also will exist installed for you.
i dont remember im going to bother with and recovery or root or kernel for a while at present over it for a while since all i can really practice is debloat no xpoosed yet for touchwiz.
y'all can invert colors to get black back but i havent seen what else information technology actually changes only read.
wanams got a hidden csc editor with some features worth an explore seems y'all need root tho.

Xposed volition come eventually, we just demand to be patient. Simply root volition be useful for some file editing too, and then I'll be happy to have it back again. Debloating would be nice likewise. I don't really desire TripAdvisor and FlipBoard or whatever it's called ?

I tried flashing TWRP in ODIN, rebooted into recovery and the stock i appeared. I've probably done something stupid but it'south 1 am and I can't be bothered to do any more then I'll figure it out tomorrow. I was supposed to put the tar file in PDA, correct?
